The Karuma hydropower station is located on the White Nile in northern Uganda, About 270km away from Kampala, the capital of Uganda. It is the largest hydropower station in Uganda with installed capacity of 600MW, which is implemented by “designing, procurement, construction (EPC)”. It is built by The Sinohydro and expected to last for five years.
